On our trip to France in 2010 we found ourselves wandering through a huge market place. It was filled with all the best and worst of old and new wares. Antiques I would have loved to been able to take home and have around me, new coats, leather and wool, modern and retro, alongside, bronze and copper wares. New Converse and Nike shoes, leather boots, sunglasses, rings and several tattoo parlours. So much happening, all of it amazing to us. We lingered and pottered and found ourselves in a section filled with old discarded bits and bobs. Postcards, lace, keys, photos, letters, silver ware and this old suitcase filled with dolls heads. I wish they could speak and tell me of the lives they have led.
I treated this with Kim's Happy Heart texture, hope you like it.
Oh my goodness...so interesting, yet a bit scary (haha), at the same time! What a find!
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot of the dolls' heads; I love your texture work! The 2nd one on the right looks a lot like my old Betsy Wetsy doll....
