A Smile in the Mail and the Bunyas or Bust

Okay not to sound old fashioned here, but seriously take me back to the good old days of snail mail immediately.  Really are you not like me, don't you just love getting a handwritten letter, a postcard, a just for no reason other than I was thinking of you card, a parcel, ooh a parcel, crinkly paper, stickytape, string, lots of stamps....... be still my beating heart.  Really who doesn't, I buy books online, just so I can get a parcel, I buy my art supplies online so the postie has to throw a parcel over my fence, ah I love it.  Really I do, so how excited do you think I was when I received some gorgeous, British Royal Wedding Street Party goodness in the mail?  Yesiree, my pal Spud, sent me a little bit of British love, ahh I am so happy.  My super dooper, street party wedding souvenir is adorable and I love love love it.  So thank you Spud, I love you!!!!!!!
Now yesterday we drove an hour and a bit into the mountains, the Bunya Mountains to be exact.  And the name comes from the fact that there are thousands of Bunya Pines up them there mountains.  Oh and kangaroos, whoa now, check out this big boy uh hum, no confusing that this is a boy is there. These guys and gals were everywhere, I know how fascinated people are with roos, here check out these guys and we'll get down to other things okay.

They were so tame I could get up really close for these shots.  Can you see the joey in the pouch of the roo on the ground?  I love joeys and there were lots up here.  They came up to one of the cabins and just layed around for a few hours ha ha.
We walked a bit in the rain forest and stumbled across this amazing orange mushroom.
The tracks were damp, and shadowy, cool and ancient.
Strange things grew there, strange but beautiful.
Then we drove home and past this old, old house, can you see the big bull resting under the tree?
I wonder when the postman last left a parcel for these people?
And again the wonder of autumn.  What did you do this weekend?

  5. Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I
ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no data backup.
Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?
