Breakfast for a week

If you have followed my blog for a little while wyou will know by the postings that I love breakfast.  I love eating breakfast out especially.  There is nothing better in my opinion than having someone cook breakfast for me.  Even better than dinner, really I don't know why that is but I do soooo... love having brekky cooked for me.  This week though I will have to go all out as over at Abbeytriesagain we have been asked to photograph our breakfasts for a week.  No particular reason I think just to create a sense of community.  And I love taking pics and I love posting and seeing what other people make of a certain task so join in if you want to and lets check out what we are all eating at breakfast.  Now don't tell me you don't eat breakfast, come on we all know  it's the most important meal of the day don't we?!!  So if you're not a breakfast eater start now and post your scrummy pics too.  Above was todays breakfast for me, a hot pot of chai tea, and my favourite make at home summer breakfast, a quick and easy Bircher muesli.  Oats, low fat yoghurt and half a grated apple, a tart and tasty granny smith is my favourite choice.  You are supposed to add currants but I'm out, so the poor old bircher is lacking somewhat but still my fav. Oh and I musn't forget the newspaper.  I love reading the local newspaper every morning, so my ritual is definitely a cup of tea, the paper and then whatever takes my fancy food wise. What do you start your morning with?

  2. I would have to admit that most mornings it is no breakfast for me, but I totally agree that the best meal to have cooked for you is breakfast--if someone cooked me fresh oatmeal with brown sugar every morning, I would definitely eat it.

Your breakfast sounds yummy, and it looks so pretty in your nice china.....my non-existent breakfast would come in a plastic bowl (hmm, maybe I would be more excited about making breakfast if I put it in pretty china.....things to think about)

  3. Monique, if you made those muffins they would be delish I'm sure.
Tracie, fact isI llove breakfast, even if I have to cook it which I usually do. I am just starving in the morning. I decided a few years back that I would always use the good china (as my mum would say) no use having it in the cupboard never used.
