We went to see 'The Help' last night, I devoured the book, laughing, gasping and shaking my head all the way through it.  Could it really be just 50 years ago that black women and men were treated so badly.  I am so ashamed at the white race sometimes it staggers me.
In saying that read the book please it is so wonderful.  Such a great story, funny and witty and I felt like I was in Jackson really.  Go Skeeter, you go girl.  Skeeter one of the main characters is writing a book made up of interviews from the black maids in her town.  It is a time of upheaval throughout America, civil rights movements stirring up all sorts of emotions from mostly everyone.  I wanted to cheer on the maids and slap a few white women.  I do hope we have changed, sometimes I fear not.
So just to add a little beauty to your world today, a few floral gifts from me to you.
I had fun playing with these.
