New Lifestyle

The rain has eased but all over the floods still effect so many hundreds, thousands of people.  The relief from the drought that we have waited so long for has brought with it devastation. Beauty and horror.

Summer is here and I know when I can have Paw Paw, yummy golden and the smell so delicious, a fruit salad is in the making.

Strawberries these were delicious, I haven't tasted strawberries like this since we were in Europe, absolutely gorgeous.

Add some rockmelon and some yoghurt and voila the perfect start to the day.
A visit to the Physio yesterday saw me come home with some exercises to start each day with. Stretching for my lower back muscles.  This year I will start each day with these and hopefully I will see the ache disappear and I will be able to get back into shape.  Other things I am doing as a part of my healthy revolution.....
Less coffee even though I only have say a maximum of 3 cups a day and I am changing to decaf.
Get out of bed earlier, with the sleeping troubles I have it is really difficult to wake up, but leaving the curtains open and just making the decision to rise is helping.
Television during the day only with ironing or some other housework.
Earlier bed time.
Drink more water.
Eat less between meals.

Interestingly, my doctor said that to lose weight all we need to do is move a little more and cut each meal down by a third in size, so easy hey?!
Biggest decision has been to leave behind those things that have been stopping me from moving forward.  Forgiving some people for the crappy way I feel they have treated us since Lucas passed away and once again deciding that to live is to live, to do, to be, not just to exist.
Elle comes today excited so I'll chat again later.
Have a great day.
