Oh it felt good, it did to get my camera out again and just wander and shoot. It has been so cold and then wet and I have been in and out of town to the chiropractor and my poor camera was sitting abandoned for a couple of weeks. Then this morning I went outside, it rained last night quite heavily and the earth smelt damp. I wandered round and saw the 4 camellia bushes we planted a fortnight ago. Sprinkled with raindrops and I had to dash inside and grab my camera. I haven't done too much to any of these just cropped for a closer look. Some slight level adjustments too, not much though. They looks so different from each other, that's what I love most about taking a photograph of the same thing a few times, how different they can look.
Ah this one I did fiddle with, I added two textures one is mine and one from Kim Klassen, she does wonderful textures and tutorials so drop on over and check her out.
See what I mean, same shot sort of but different, more detail in one or a different light I love that so much.
I do love this shot, I love the raindrops on the petals, oh wow it's pretty. So that is my day, not terribly exciting was it but I am happy just the same. I have some great shots of the horses that live over the back fence I will fiddle a little and show you later. I know it is so hot where some of you are and yet here it is quite icy. Tonight we will have Tandoori Chicken roasted for dinner. Yum gotta love that spicy, warming indian food.
So many gods, so many creeds,
So many paths that wind and wind,
While just the art of being kind
is all the sad world needs.
